Online Delivery

Course Details

  • Our online program is available mid-month each month (check schedule for dates under Our Program page).

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required to register for this course. If you do not have one you can apply as a mature student and take our mature student test online. Once passed you can enroll in our programs.

  • A course classroom link is sent to the student so they can access their online classroom anytime and work at their own pace. A suggested schedule is also provided to keep the student on track. 

  • All course fees and payments are completed online before the class starts. 

  • Before the commencement of the online class, a materials package is delivered to the student. This aids in the student learning experience.

  • Special trainers are incorporated into our programs to give each of the students an informative understanding of the material.

  • This professional course is taught by qualified, talented instructors and teaching assistants geared at getting the students ready for the challenges and rewards of the dental field with over 23 years of experience in all areas of the dental office.

  • Certificate of training issued upon successful completion of the course and all its requirements.

  • Bi-weekly online ZOOM training sessions are incorporated into the schedule for additional hands-on training.

  • A mock interview is scheduled in the student's final few weeks to prepare them for industry interviews.

  • Dental terminology, dental procedures, numbering systems, and dentitions.

  • Tooth charting and universal charting symbols.

  • Insurance claims, both manual and electronic.

  • Treatment planning and pre-determination forms for insurance companies.

  • Insurance codes, insurance companies.

  • Legal concepts, privacy act, and dental office ethics.

  • Infection control and IPC protocols in sterile bay and operatories.

  • Inventory and dental office record management.

  • Office policy procedures and creating a dental office manual.

  • Patient record keeping, and appointment management for all practices.

  • Accounts receivable and payable in a dental office.

  • Efficient reception desk skills and protocols to manage the front end operations

  • Effective patient rapport and learning excellent communication skills.

  • Critical thinking scenarios to assist the students in using dental terminology with confidence.

  • Dental software program training with Dentrix Software systems.

  • Guidance in creating a professional resume as well as providing tips on an effective interview strategy.

Course Fees

  • Our course tuition fee is $4988.99 (no GST).

  • Student materials package $125.00

  • Textbook loan fee of $100.00 (returned when the textbook is returned).

  • A $135.00 admin/processing fee is required to register and secure your student seat. This is a non-refundable or non-transferable fee that will expire in 90 days.

  • If tuition is paid by credit card there is a 3% processing fee applied. All payments are made online.
