DOSO Course Details
•The online program can be completed at the student's own pace. Each student has 3 months to complete the program and all its requirements.
• Course requires a work placement or co-op (50 hours) after the program. This is the responsibility of the student to arrange, however, the school can assist if required.
• All programs are taught by private, qualified dental professionals. These instructors are focused on getting the students ready for the challenges and rewards of the dental field.
• Certificate of training upon completion of the course and requirements.

Dental terminology and glossary terms.
Scope of Microbiology and infection control history.
Development of infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens.
Infection control –rationale and regulations and IPC office manuals and Alberta regulations.
Recordkeeping, logs, manuals reference materials.
Being a part of the dental team, time management in the sterile bay.
Protective barriers, protective equipment,
Learning to manage sundries and manual as well as electronic supply ordering for the dental office.
Management of sterile bay during a working day and troubleshooting.
Dental sterile bay machines, materials, and monitoring and protocols.
Instrument processing, identification, and dental water lines asepsis.
Guest speaker presentation with Germaphine (in-class only).

Course Fees
The total course tuition fee is $1488.99. No GST added.
The course requires a non-refundable or transferable registration fee of $135.00.
If the DOSO program is combined with our Dental Administration program we offer a reduced rate of $1288.99 (saving $200.00).
